Was there for summer a salmon fishing rendezvous that I'd set up for my college age daughter (great dad or what?!)...anyhow, this place is off the grid. Everything is quiet here, even the stillness.

Otherwise known as Rottnest ISland, it is one cool bit of paradise and should be on your bucket list when you come to Perth in WA.

This was taken way too early to be facing east, but lets get real, I wasn't exactly going to sit there nor was I coming back in the afternoon.
