Old camera and old slide film - what went wrong here?

I just developed a Agfa CTX slide film - shot with an Pentax ME. The pentax has a slight problem in that the exposure counter doesn't work, but I thought it would be ok.

The film said develop some time before early 2000s, and I was hoping for some fun "old film" effects. This wasn't quite it.

Colours are all washed out, and there are yellow and blue spots everywhere.

Old film?
Broken Camera?
Laboratory error?

Since Mina anyway had me awake at 3.30am, I put the camera on the balcony pointing at the upcoming sunrise and let it take pictures every 30 seconds.

Three problems here:

* The Pentax K7 only allows 99 time-lapse photos. WHAT? Why? How? Need to buy one of these. This meant my run stopped after about 1.5 hours, just after 6am, which is just when it got interesting.

* Despite the brilliant weather forecase, the morning was very cloudly, and the sun didn't as much rise, as just appear in the sky after a while.

* The shots are all underexposed.

I'll try again next time Mina is up early, probably tomorrow night.

I got up at 6.30 for this. Drove up the mountain a bit, and waiting for the sun to rise. My plan was that the sun would hit the mountain-tops first, they would sparkle, and it would look great. Unfortunately it was pretty hazy, and the mountains only got a slight pink tint when the sun was already up.
