Independence Day Fireworks

I went to the roof of a near-by 12-story building to get a clear view of the fireworks in my area. There aren't any shows that are overly close, but the view involves no crowds, traffic, or money. This image is from the closest display, but I'm not sure what community was putting it on. I could see about a 3/4 of the horizon from the roof, and more shows than I could count (but again most weren't close).

Obviously this is an international site, but for all those other Americans out there happy 4th of July!

I tried shooting fireworks for the first time this holiday. Had a lot more misses than hits, but I think this one came out somewhat OK.
