I was a foster parent for 5 years and had many children come into my life and loved them all like my own. After having our own children I gave up fostering (it was way too hard on my children to always give up their "brothers and sisters") so this is my way of still helping the children in foster care.

"Beana" was the nickname of one of the foster babies we had for nearly 2 1/2 years. Beana came into of life when she was only 2 weeks old and it was bitter-sweet when she left. Beana was one of the lucky ones....she was adopted by a wonderful family who gave her a forever home!
