For the shot, I exposed for the golf course behind him then fired my Canon 600EX-RT @ 1/2 or full power (sue me for not remembering) through my new favorite light mod, the Rapid Box Octabox. Triggered by my ST-E3-RT transmitter.

OAN,I should probably take advantage of being able to play for free.

For this shot, I used a voice activated boom (shout out to Johnny) to place the light high above the model. I used the Honl 30 degree grid on my Canon 600EX-RT as my light source. I triggered it with the Canon ST-E3-RT transmitter. Speaking of the transmitter, say what you will. Sure, it's expensive, but I love the fact that I changed my light output without touching my flash. If you're a Canon shooter, you simply must purchase this kit. Worth every penny.
