An old postcard from Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania.

My Grandparents had a cottage there from the 1960s to the 1970s.

Here is a photo from 1904 of "Camp Light".

This was in a box of my Mom's photos. She thinks it probably came from the cottage my Grandparents purchased in Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania.

Given the name of the camp and the location I'd guess that this was a Church sponsored camp.

I love the guy holding the little dog and the way they are all dressed up for a fun hot holiday!

Orignal Photo taken in Spring 1996 with Canon EOS Elan SLR using unknown Film brand or ISO. Scanned on a Canon F917500 Flatbed Scanner to be used in An Illustrated Guide to New England Wildflowers.

Map placement is approximate, but this was in that general area south of Morse Meadow Pond in the Yale Forest.

Round-lobed Hepatica - Hepatica americana

Hepatica. This was a tough flower to get the color right on, as the blue was the perfect shade to not photograph well. This really looks more pink than the flower is.

Orignal Photo taken in Spring 1996 with Canon EOS Elan SLR using unknown Film brand or ISO. Scanned on a Canon F917500 Flatbed Scanner to be used in An Illustrated Guide to New England Wildflowers.

An aloe flower just beginning to bloom. Aloes are generally regarded as having beautiful leaves and being quite easy to grow in the right climate. However, the flowers are quite striking and often overlooked. Aloe flowers are also a big favorite of hummingbirds.

I've been thinking about purchasing the complete works of Shakespeare in one volume for some time now. However, when I read reviews for the various offerings on Amazon there seem to be many faults with all in either content or binding. Then I had the brilliant idea to try out some from my public library. Not only can I see how I like reading the print, how I like the paper, how I like the footnotes, etc - I can also see how well the binding is holding up. Not sure how long this particular copy has been in the stacks or how often it goes out, but it is in extremely good shape.
