Got the opportunity to go up in a Helicopter today, big thank you to Dig, Angie and Ben for letting this happen. My first time in a helicopter, such a smooth ride! great to see the Island from the air too, i take a lot of photographs of Steep Holm, very few of the Island where i live. Lots of reflections to deal with inside the cockpit, could have done with winding the window down a bit!

Managed to catch this small display on Bonfire night, saw some great fireworks from the Island, Weston, Cardiff, Penarth amongst others, We think a display somewhere in the Sully area was the best. Unfortunately i was late getting my camera set up - filling the header tank with water. I was unaware that firework displays finished so early.
