One of my favorite performances during the Halili-Cruz School of Ballet's "Celebration of Dance" show.

The ballerinas expressed the essence of life as bright seaweeds swaying underwater to the lively melody of "In Caelum Fero".

Madman is a comic book series set in one of the many parallel worlds existing in the Multiverse. Mike Allred is the creator of the Madman comic book and all its characters. Madman's world is particularly strange. It is a world where mutants, extraterrestrials and freaks run rampant. The comic book takes place in Snap City, which is home to the planet's only superhero: the Madman.

Dragon is a comic book hero created by Hulk/Spider-man artist and Image co-founder Erik Larsen.

Dragon began as an amnesiac who used his powers (superhuman strength, durability, agility and healing factor) as a police officer.

This action figure from Marvel Toys has articulation points all the way to the fingers. The likeness to his comic book design is incredibly accurate.

I'm pretty happy with the lighting effect I achieved in this picture. :)

More on Toy Photography

In August 2007, Marvel Toy's (formerly ToyBiz) launched a new toy line called the Legendary Comic Book Superheroes (LCBH). It featured characters mainly from independent comic books.

Among the featured toys is Dale Keown's PITT, who is arguably inspired by Marvel Comic's Hulk.

PITT is LCBH's Build-A-Figure and is a massive and visually stunning toy.

First Marvel Comics killed him off in Civil War. Now they want to bring him back in Avengers/Invaders!

I wanted to take a low-key shot of Cap as a tribute to his legacy which "ended" in the aftermath of Marvel's Civil War.

I setup this diorama and submitted this picture as an entry for a photo contest involving toys.

Some post production stuff involved in this version, just so I can flex my photo-manipulation muscles. :D
