The missing and old windows in the attic have started being replaced. No more pigaons and 'coons on the loose inside the attic!

Even though the keystone to the picture window is ready to fall out, the pending restroation will see the window restored and hopefully the decorative glass will return.

The front door facing east. What I had took to be a patch in the front door actually turned out to be a mail slot. Funny the details that you can see after a lot of overgrowth that obscured the view gets removed.

An old Jaguar parked in the carriage house. It used to sit exposed to the elements in the yard, but was lately moved under cover.

Although I'm not 100% for sure, I strongly suspect that the porch visible here is almost as old as the house, and sadly is the only survivor out of three that used to stand at different points on the house. The rest have all collapsed and been removed due to age and benign neglect.

This old stove had been sitting outside the Avery House for a day or two but ultimately was hauled away to be disposed of. It was too badly worn out and damaged to be restored.

The property has already begun to look immensely better since new owners took posession of it. The surrounding thick, runaway brush has been torn out, the many saplings have been removed and the low-hanging branches have been trimmed back. The Avery House has the look of a property about to undergo heavy work which is quite heartening.
