Epsom Coaches Mercedes Citaro is seen passing through Carshalton on the X26 trunk route to Heathrow Airport.
This route is the successor to the old London Transport route 725 which originally ran between Gravesend and Dartford through Bromley, Croydon, Sutton and Kingston to Staines and Windsor. The present day routing is From West Croydon - Heathrow a mere 24 miles making it London's longest present day route.

Free Bus

It seems to have become a free for all in some parts of Surrey, here on the outskirts of Guildford a loaned London United Dart in service with Quality Line is closely followed in the distance by a Countryliner Dart both on the same route & both offering free travel.
Since the collapse of Countryliner on the 8th October this route has been run by Epsom Coaches, Countryliner & apparently Sunray travel, the latter using Countryliners vehicles & drivers.
In this mid afternoon shot of both vehicles I counted five passengers in total.

Quality Line - DD11

Quality Line took over route 467 from London United on 3rd September 2011, with two new Enviro 400s allocated for the route which runs from Epsom - Hook.
All new London buses will now carry the familiar LT roundel bringing at least some relief to the bland all red livery which London buses must now adhere too.
