I shot Table Mountain with water flowing over the rocks in the foreground at Blouberg beach one night.

This shot is processed with 3 exposures (-2 0 +2) and merged in Photomatix Pro.

39mm, ISO 100, Exposure 1 secs at f26. 3 exposures -2 0 +2 HDR processed

Vivid Lions Head [Explored]

One night while driving home from work the sky was so vivid and dreamy in colours that I had to make a stop at Lagoon beach where I shot the silhouette of Lion's Head in the background.

55mm, ISO 100, Exposure 32 secs at f36.4

I found this amazing treasure while driving around Cape Town near Sea Point. Although it was noon, the trees created the right open shade for me to still be able to take this shot. I loved the contrast of the blue Vespa against the orange wall...and the whole scene screams retro!!!

We decided to head to the beach kind of spur of the moment tonight as it was stil very hot here in Cape Town. We headed to Blaauwberg beach as it is like 10mins drive from where we live, so naturally I just took my camera along as I hadn't taken a photo for my 365 project yet today.

When we got there the sun had just gone behind Robben Island and it was simply breath taking...wow! I saw colours tonight in nature I hadn't thought was possible.

So the big island you see there where the sun is setting is in fact Robben Island, Cape Town.

This rock seemed to be the place where all the seagulls joined together before the night rolled in.

I was lucky enough to have caught this seagull flying through the frame as I snapped away.

I slowed down the shutter in this one to make the water more smooth, which in turn created this mystic feel in it.

Cape Town's sunset was just superb tonight as the skies turned into one giant canvas. Everything was just perfect...from the sky, sunset, water, reflections, the rocks...

The photo was taken at Blouberg beach in Cape Town. I am so lucky to live in the beautiful Cape Town :)))

A seagull decided to drop by while I was taking photos of Table Mountain from Sunset Beach. That's lion's head on the right behind the ship.

V&A Waterfront Escalators

On my way outside to start my mini photowalk at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, I realised how quite the mall was due to the fact that I was there early in the morning.

I love the lighting inside this mall as it makes everything light up beautifully.
