I spotted this tulip, which was not as beautiful as most of the other tulips around it....but with a droplet on its edge. And I thought this adds to its unique beauty.

Hyacinth 風信子 is the Theme Flower of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2012. I love these hyacinths looking so young and fresh in the early morning... shortly after some scattered showers, but before the sun setting in :-)

You can see the little flowers here, there and everywhere...... in the flower bed, on the drawing paper, and interestingly, in the little girl's hair :-)

This young student artist has almost finished her drawing and it is interesting to observe how she perceives the flowers on her drawing paper (versus the real flowers), for the students drawing competition at The Hong Kong Flower Show 2012.

I find the blue and green colors complement each other very well and are quite pleasant to the eyes :-)

There is a big booth for South Africa at Hong Kong Flower Show 2012. This gorgeous Protea is their national flower and is flown in directly from South Africa.

According to Wikipedia, the genus Protea was named in 1735 by Carl Linnaeus after the Greek god Proteus, who could change his form at will, because proteas have such a wide variety of forms. This is what contributes to the caption of this photo :-)
