I took it during our Christmas holidays in Wisconsin. It was very cold, but there was lots of absolutely perfect snow. I spent a fair amount of time walking through the woods shooting bits of vegetation poking through the snow. However, this one was taken in our front yard and the heaps of snow are just buried rocks.
