Well they call them the Smokey Mountains for a reason. I still wish it had not been so hazy. I pulled over as we were driving, just so I could get a shot of this. I liked the look of all the mountains lined up.

I processed with PSPX2 and Topaz Adjust. I went for the "Spicify" setting.

I liked the detail that was all over this ride. They did a wonderful job and I tried to capture a little bit of it.

I played around with HDR but in the end skipped it. Minimal processing in PSPx2. Noise reduction and sharpening.

Here is a shot I took on our drive through the Great Smoky Mountian National park back in April. We almost did not make it through due to the roads being closed because of snow. It was a great trip since neither of my kids (13 and 5) had ever seen real snow.
