I finally was able to capture a night time long exposure at a low ISO 50 to eliminate more noise. This was a 3 minute exposure of downtown Denver from City Park over looking the lake. This was still early enough in the evening that there was still some cloud cover from the day. As the warm spring evening progressed, the sky cleared up and left an undramatic sky.

Witching Hour at the Clock Tower

The Clock Tower on 16th Street was still lit green from St. Patricks day. I caught this image of the clock tower with the Supermoon in the background. It just looked haunting and evil. Too bad the hand of the clock weren't at midnight.

Light at the End of the Alley

I was intrigued by this dark alley and the transition from the dark to the light. The florescent glow of the graffiti in the trash cans lit up the darkness.

These two door side by side on South Broadway caught my eye. The dark door frames against the white tile with street traffic walking by. These doors are home to the Delite and the Deluxe.

This is a shot of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science at night. I had been taking pictures around Denver City Park and the lake and then heading back up the hill to the parking lot I noticed the museum illuminating amongst the darkness.

The design and texture caught my eye on the manhole covers in LoDo. I gave this shot a Sepia tone which brought out some of the detail more and tied in the brick work.

This is my favorite shot of the photo walk around S. Broadway. It was this simple door lit by a single light. Every time I look at this picture there is emotion coming from the image...fear, excitement, suspense. What is going on behind the door, what will pop out from the darkness, what will the door reveal?

Just off Broadway on Bayaud there was this column near Famous Pizza. The lighting on the side of this building on this column intrigued me. This shot make it appear like steps leading into the darkness. What is beyond the steps?

The Connection - Color Version

This is the color version of The Connection. The fire department red gives a nice contrast to the brass and the diamond plate wall of the building. This shot is a simple Fire Department Hose Connector on the side of a building on S. Broadway ready to take action in case of a fire.

The Lever - B & W

A simple single speed bike locked up along S. Broadway and this single brake lever just stood out. The original version is in color but this B&W version has some unique qualities as well. Let me know your thoughts.
