We asked our daughter last year if she wanted her own DSLR for Christmas. She said, "no, just a guitar and a new iPod please." So, we got her those. These days though, she's been borrowing our cameras too often. Hmmm...

This pretty much sums up what I did today: baked cookies, brewed a pot of tea, reviewed some storyboards, and did some research on a concept that I'm planning to present next week. Not too exciting, but definitely filling.

Obviously, she's not so self-conscious about her braces anymore.

There are a lot of reasons for me to smile and laugh these days, too. Just a few days ago, I received my largest Getty paycheck to date, plus I had one customer that I'm particularly giddy about, MTV Networks. So yes, it's been a happy couple of days.
