Today was the annual Barker Days event, where the swimming pool goes to the dogs for one day only.

We had a blast, played in the water, and also ran into Courtney (RileyMai) and Milo from the 52 Weeks Group!

Ouzo was smiling the entire day, but I chose this frame instead of a deliriously happy one just because his expression makes me burst out laughing.

Chris had just thrown him the ball in the pool and I think another dog snatched it. So here he's asking me for help locating his beloved ball, I caught him mid-turn as you can tell by his lips and ears :)))

Surprisingly, he picked some squeeky tennis balls :) And some rolled treats (like a salami) with lamb and beef.

I also helped him choose a Chuckit bumper and a Chuckit ball that looks like it's wearing a smurf hat - i believe it's supposed to imitate a shark's fin when it floats.

All he wanted was to socialize with everyone in the store - from people to other dogs :))

Oh, and he wanted a cat too - he saw some for adoption - I have a video of it and will post it eventually :)

In moments like this, there's nothing that can distract him from what he's doing. There could be a circus of squirrels ridding on bunnies while joggling frisbees on their noses, they would not get more than a quick glance from this boy...

I love the silent dialog between the dog and the woman while the draft horses are getting ready for their big show. He then got up and let the woman pet him - I missed the focus on those but you can tell what's next just from this image.

See, Ouzo? Rather than trying to sneak behind everyone and collect unattended balls, how about following this brave lab's example and diving in the pool? :)

On a hot summer day, nothing better than a getting a cold shower at the dog park :)

Because when you're shooting with an wide angle at just 80 cm distance from a shaking dog, that's what's going to happen. I admit it feels good :)
