I took a shot at making the image of the Boy in Thailand image look old. For some reason the original image looked like it should be an 'old pic'.
All done in Photoshop.

I was filming a girl who was a refugee from Laos. She lived in Trat in SE Thailand. She took me down to the very southern border crossing into Cambodia. I took this shot in a small crowded market at the border.

The border itself was a small simple fence. In some places you could almost step over it but the guys with the guns probably wouldn't like that. There were a lot of people crossing back and forth going to markets on either side.

Among the poverty and markets on the Cambodia side rose a large casino.
