Looks like the Jetski guy has stopped to make a call on his Walkie Talkie, right next to the harbour wall at North Berwick on a day when the tide was very low

Looking across the beach to some of the seafront homes at North Berwick, with the church spire and clock standing above. Must be a nice sea view from some of those homes!

I think they were painting these rowboats, but I just liked the larger with the smaller boat, reminded me of a whale and her calf. And while I mostly shot in colour on this very bright, sunny day, for some reason this scene just said B&W to me.

wee yacht at rest at a very low tide in North Berwick - you can see how low the tide is by the marks on the rocky outcrop behind the moored boat. You can walk out on the promontory (not accessible if you have mobility problems though as the path soon becomes mostly rocks & there is a steel walkway and ladders connecting some of it) where you can get great views, especially on an active day as waves smash into the rocks around you. If you look to the right of the small building on the headland you can just see the white arc of the top of the huge Bass Rock.

despite being a very low tide the beach around the harbour and the slope down into the beach from the road above by the RNLI station was very busy, more boats were on the parkland next to the beach nearby, so guessing there had been something on earlier in the day before we arrived

North Berwick is a beautiful part of the east coast of Scotland, but there's a reason why early geologists like Hutton found it interesting - lots of rocks on both the shore and out in the water, so you have to know what you're doing if you sail around here!

shot off dozens of pics but often at full zoom and speed so loads came out blurred etc, but managed to get this one of the biplane roaring low over North Berwick. You can see the rocky part of the beach in the foreground exposed at extremely low tide while the plane flies over the harbour and the Scottish Seabird Centre on the headland.

down by North Berwick on the east coast of Scotland today on a very warm, sunny day, tide was way, way out (about lowest I've seen there), we were walking along the beach when we heard a propeller engine.

Not unusual as there is a small airfield nearby, but we noticed instead of the usual microlight or light aircraft this was a biplane. Moving quite rapidly too compared to normal private light aircraft, then suddenly up he climbs, rapidly and the smoke cannister comes on - someone practising their stunt flying display. We had ten minutes of this impromptu one-plane air display over the coast, great bonus!

the tide is out, pretty much as low as I've seen at this spot in a long time, and the sailing is all done for the day, time for the little boats to have a nap
