Blue Waters at Fishcombe

View from Fishcombe Cove across to Churston Cove around one and a half hours after Sunrise. The conditions calm and the waters were clear and blue, perfect. This is a long exposure of 30 sec at f/11 using Nikon D5000 and Sigma 10-20mm lens.

As part of Torquay's Super Weekend this Aston Martin DB9 was sat at Princess Gardens along with many other Super Cars, Bikes and Boats. Unfortunately the price tag was a bit too high for me. Still maybe one day when, sorry if I win the lottery. I hope you enjoy this HDR rendition of the car along with my reflection.

What appears to be a very bright Star rising over the cliffs at Bedruthan, but don't be fooled. It is in fact the Moon but during the editing of the image playing around with the highlights I got this effect. Strange don't you think. Anyway I hope you like it.

Bedruthan Afterglow

Taken at Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall the Afterglow a few minutes as the Sun had set below the horizon. This is an HDR image produced with HDR Efex Pro so may not appeal to all but I feel this is not over done and brings out the colours and textures more.

The remnants of an old stone wall and what was once a tree now just a decaying stump. The image is a blend of two to capture the shadows and highlights better and converted to Mono to portray the mood of Dartmoor.

Patterns on the Beach
