És segurament el punt més vistós de la ciutat de Takayama, com a mínim mentres floreixen els cirerers.

It's one of the most scenic spots in Takayama, at least during the cherry blossom.

La ciutat de Takayama es troba al centre de les muntanyes del Japó. Té un barri antic molt ben conservat. Un lloc fantàstic per veure un Japó molt diferent del de Tokio.

The city of Takayama is located in the middle of the Japanese Alps. It has a well preserved city center, and it's a perfect place to feel a very different Japan from that of Tokyo.

El de Matsumoto és possiblement el castell més bonic del Japó, és un dels pocs que són originals (del 1593), ja que la majoria han estat destruïts i reconstruïts, especialment a la Segona Guerra Mundial. Com que es troba apartat, la majoria de visitants eren japonesos.

The castle of Matsumoto, in central Honshu. This is maybe the most beautiful castle in Japan. Also is one of the few in it's original materials. It was built in 1593.
