We spotted this vessel in mid July, way out in the Irish Sea when we were staying on Bardsey, where it looked very odd. We were therefore surprised to find it moored in Holyhead harbour the other night when we stopped to go fishing.

Apparently the vessel is a specialised barge for drilling and the instillation of wind turbines.. The 'legs' can be sunk down to the seabed, and are over 40 metres in length.
