After a good meal, take a nap! Babies don’t eat properly, but it’s very funny!! I could also put another title like: Niagara Falls of milk!!! We have just begun jars of vegetables. This is a slaughter of carrots, green beans and peas!!! I know you know that… Enjoy! ;D

Après un bon repas, rien ne vaut une bonne sieste. Et ce n’est pas le fiston qui nous a refait les chutes du Niagara, version lait 1er age, qui me contredira (de toute façon, il ne parle pas encore…). On vient juste de débuter les petits pots. C’est impressionnant le nombre de toiles style Kandinsky que peut réaliser un bébé sur son propre corps… Vive le lave-linge ! ;D

On the picture, you can see the Brooklyn bridge looking the construction of the freedom tower (1 WTC). The new WTC (1 WTC) or One World Trade Center (its old name was Freedom Tower) is one of the new tower in New York City. It's constructing on the place of the 9/11 terrorists attack like a symbol on the counter terrorism. This monument is a very famous tourist place in the big apple. The construction of the 1 WTC progress along the month in the middle of the city.

Sur cette prise classique de Manhattan, vous apercevez le Brooklyn bridge qui semble "regarder" en direction de la One world trade center, une des tours qui remplacera les Twin Towers. This shot was taken in la Réunion Island (France) located in the Indian Ocean. The island is really great, especially for hiking. You can also swim with many tropical fish in the lagoon at the Ermitage (or l’hermitage) beach. The water is about 29°C (84°F)!! Enjoy! ;D
Réunion (French: La Réunion; previously Île Bourbon) is a French island with a population of about 800,000 located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar, about 200 kilometres (120 mi) south west of Mauritius, the nearest island.

L'île de La Réunion est un département d'outre-mer français du sud-ouest de l'océan Indien. Elle est située dans l'archipel des Mascareignes à environ 700 kilomètres à l'est de Madagascar et à 170 kilomètres au sud-ouest de l'île Maurice, terre la plus proche.
Bénéficiant d'un climat tropical et située sur la route des cyclones, elle présente un relief escarpé travaillé par une érosion très marquée. Elle culmine à 3 071 mètres d'altitude au sommet du piton des Neiges et abrite par ailleurs l'un des volcans les plus actifs du monde : le piton de la Fournaise. Ce dernier augmente régulièrement la superficie totale de ce territoire d'environ 200 kilomètres de circonférence et qui jouit sur ses 2 512 kilomètres carrés actuels d'un endémisme exceptionnel.
Vraisemblablement repérée par les Arabes dès le Moyen Âge, La Réunion n'a été habitée qu'à compter du milieu du XVIIe siècle, soit environ 150 ans après son apparition sur les portulans des navigateurs portugais. Jusqu'alors connue sous le nom de Mascareigne, elle devient sous celui de Bourbon une escale de la Compagnie française des Indes orientales sur la route des Indes puis, à partir des années 1710, une véritable colonie pratiquant la culture du café. Devenue une société de plantation, elle passe ensuite sous le contrôle direct du roi de France dans les années 1760 avant d'être réaffectée à l'industrie de la canne à sucre au terme des Guerres napoléoniennes. Elle est définitivement rebaptisée de son nom actuel et l'esclavage y est aboli en 1848. Malgré l'engagisme, qui se pratique jusque dans les années 1930, il s'ensuit une crise économique rampante à laquelle un terme ne sera mis que suite à sa transformation en département français en 1946.
La Réunion est depuis lors un département d'outre-mer désigné par le numéro 974 et elle bénéficie de ce fait d'un développement rapide auquel participe son statut plus récent de région ultrapériphérique de l'Union européenne. Néanmoins, et en dépit de son appartenance à la zone euro, son tissu productif reste structurellement fragile et fortement dépendant de la France métropolitaine. On y relève un taux de chômage particulièrement élevé (de l'ordre de 25 %) résultat de la croissance encore soutenue de la population, qui est officiellement au 1er janvier 2010 de 833 000 habitants. Les Réunionnais se concentrent sur les côtes, où l'espace et le logement viennent à manquer et où se trouve Saint-Denis, le chef-lieu. Le PIB est estimé à 14,5 milliards €.
La démographie locale se caractérise par la jeunesse des habitants et leurs origines variées, à la fois européennes, ouest-africaines, est-africaines, malgaches, indiennes, annamites, malaises et chinoises. La cohabitation dans un espace restreint a donné lieu à des mélanges inédits, leurs langues formant le créole réunionnais, leurs religions se rencontrant autour d'un syncrétisme original, leurs gastronomies nourrissant ensemble la cuisine réunionnaise et leursmusiques fusionnant pour donner le séga et le maloya. Ce métissage original est considéré comme un atout essentiel pour le premier secteur économique de l'île : l'industrie touristique locale, à qui elle doit son surnom d'Île intense.

This shot was taken last january in Copenhaguen. Nyhavn is a great place with many bars and restaurants. The townhouse are very colored. I recommend you to visit Copenhaguen!

Nyhavn is a 17th century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the harbour front just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. Serving as a "heritage harbour", the canal has many historical wooden ships.
Nyhavn was constructed by King Christian V from 1670-73, dug by Swedish war prisoners from the Dano-Swedish War 1658–1660. It is a gateway from the sea to the old inner city at Kongens Nytorv (King's Square), where ships handled cargo and fishermens' catch. It was notorious for beer, sailors, and prostitution. Danish author Hans Christian Andersen lived at Nyhavn 18 for some years.

Nyhavn est un canal du centre de Copenhague dont le nom signifie nouveau port en danois. Il est caractérisé par les vives couleurs des maisons qui le bordent. On y trouve l'ancienne maison de l'écrivain Hans Christian Andersen, des bateaux amarrés que l'on peut visiter presque en tout temps ainsi que plusieurs lieux d'exposition.
À son embouchure on rejoint le Syhavnen, cours d'eau qui traverse Copenhague. La rue Toldbodgade franchit le canal environ à ses deux tiers.

This shot was taken during the first hike of my baby in La Réunion Island. My little baby was smiling on the couch during my wife was looking him. The reflection in the glasses was cool, so I pushed the button… Enjoy your weekend friends! ;D

Cette photo a été réalisée pendant une randonnée à la Réunion. Ce fut la toute première marche du boutchou dans les montagnes ! Il a passé son temps à dormir dans le porte-bébé ! C’est cool la vie de bébé ! Le reflet dans les lunettes de mon épouse m’a bien plu. Du coup, j’ai déclenché ! Bon weekend les loulous ! ;D

The shot was taken in the middle of forest of Bélouve in La Reunion Island (France). The hike name “Trou de fer” is a really great walk inside lush vegetation. At the end of the hike, we have a splendid view of the Trou de Fer (“hole iron” in a literal translation), a large canyon lost in the mountains of La Reunion Island.

Le Trou de Fer est une impressionnante dépression géologique du massif du Piton des Neiges située au nord-est de l'île de La Réunion. Comme son nom l'indique, cette dépression se présente sous la forme d'un véritable trou de près de 300 mètres de profondeur au nord du plateau formé par la forêt de Bélouve. La randonnée nous oblige à découvrir la forêt de Bélouve, qui abrite une surprenante et luxuriante végétation. La photo a été réalisée sur le chemin en pleine forêt !

Pirou is a small French city located in the state of Manche in Basse Normandie. Only 1621 inhabitants live there. It’s near the landing beaches of world war 2. Beaches are very nice but be careful, the water is very fresh !!! On the picture, you can see the tractors of the fishermen which admire the wonderful sunset …

Pirou est une commune française, située dans le département de la Manche et la région Basse-Normandie, peuplée de 1621 habitants (les Pirouais). Les plages de Pirou sont fortes agréables (si on omet la température de la Manche, bien évidemment). Ce jour-là, le soleil était resplendissant !
Vous pouvez distinguer deux tracteurs de pêcheurs normands admirant le paisiblement le coucher de soleil sur la côte normande…Ça change des paysages hivernaux enneigés ! ;D

I took this picture during a weekend in Copenhagen (Denmark) in last January. This shot was taken from the top of Marble Church. The view was awesome! There are a lot of tourist place to visit like the Little Mermaid statue (den lille havfrue),the Round Tower (Rundetaarn), the channel, Nyhavn harbor, Stroget street, Amalienborg place, Royal Danish Playhouse …inCopenhagen.The weather was very cold!!! I give you an advice : don’t visit the city during the winter, the Tivoli Gardens (or Tivoli parc) is closed during this season... Bad for us...

Cette prise a été réalisée lors d’un weekend à Copenhague (Danemark) en Janvier dernier du toit de Marble Church une église située à proximité du palais d’Amalienborg. Le temps était plutôt frais, voire glacial, mais le weekend fut fort sympathique. Petit conseil, le célèbre parc Tivoli n’est pas ouvert en hiver... Donc, visitez cette agréable ville plutôt à partir du printemps.

Copenhague est la capitale et la plus grande ville du Danemark. Son nom danois, København, déformation de Købmandshavn, le port des commerçants, rappelle sa position stratégique à l'entrée de la mer Baltique. Le nom français est, lui, dérivé de l'allemand Kopenhagen.
Copenhague est la ville du parlement national, du gouvernement et de la monarchie danoise. Le premier fort fut bâti dans la ville en 1167.
La ville de Copenhague ou, plus officiellement, la commune de Copenhague (Københavns Kommune) à proprement parler, compte 509 861 habitants (janvier 2008). Néanmoins, le nom de Copenhague est généralement donné à l'ensemble du comté de Copenhague, qui regroupe 1 931 467 d'habitants (janvier 2012).
Son maire est, depuis le 1er janvier 2010, le social-démocrate Frank Jensen. Ses habitants s'appellent, en français, les Copenhaguois(es).

I took this picture of the wonderful little mermaid statue of Edvard Eriksen during a weekend in Copenhagen (kopenhagen, capital of the Denmark). It’s a very famous monument or symbol of Copenhagen. The statue is standing on a rock very close of the water. It’s quite suprising. Copenhagen is a cool city. Danish are very polite and friendly. You can visit the principals attractions of the city in two days. I recommend it! ;D

The Little Mermaid (Danish: Den lille havfrue) is a statue of a mermaid in Langelinie, Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Based on the fairy tale of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen, the small and unimposing statue (with a height of 1.25 metres (4 ft)) is a Copenhagen icon and a major tourist attraction.
The statue was commissioned in 1909 by Carl Jacobsen, son of the founder of Carlsberg, who had been fascinated by a ballet about the fairytale in Copenhagen's Royal Theatre and asked the prima ballerina, Ellen Price, to model for the statue. The sculptor Edvard Eriksen created the bronze statue, which was unveiled on 23 August 1913. The statue's head was modelled after Price, but as the ballerina did not agree to model in the nude, the sculptor's wife, Eline Eriksen, was used for the body.
The Copenhagen City Council decided to move the statue to Shanghai at the Danish Pavilion for the duration of the Expo 2010 (from May to October), the first time it had been moved from its perch since it was installed almost a century earlier.

J’ai réalisé cette image de la petite sirène danoise au cours d’un weekend à Copenhague en Janvier dernier. La statue est situé sur une rive, elle a quasiment la queue dans l’eau. Ce monument de copenhague peut être considéré comme un symbole Danois tellement elle est célèbre à travers le monde entier.
Les danois sont fort aimable et sympathique.Vous pouvez visiter les principaux monuments de Copenhague en deux jours. Je recommande cette sympathique destination, surtout aux Parisiens qui peuvent facilement prendre faire l’aller retout en un weekend! ;D

La Petite Sirène (danois: den lille havfrue) est une statue en bronze sur un rocher dans le port de Copenhague, dans le parc Churchill. Il s'agit d'une représentation du personnage du conte éponyme de Hans Christian Andersen.
C'est le symbole et la principale attraction touristique de Copenhague.
La relative petite taille de cette statue (elle ne fait que 1,25 m de haut pour un poids de 175 kg), et surtout sa proximité du rivage ne manquent pas de surprendre les touristes.
Elle fut commandée en 1909 par Carl Jacobsen, fondateur de la Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek et fils du fondateur des brasseries Carlsberg.
Elle fut sculptée par Edvard Eriksen, qui utilisa comme modèles la danseuse Ellen Price pour le visage et sa femme Eline Eriksen pour le corps. La statue fut érigée le 23 août1913.

Niagara falls during the cyclone Felleng... La cascade Niagara pendant le cyclone Felleng à la Réunion, France...

This shot was taken during the cyclone Felleng in la Réunion Island (France) (not really finished currently). A lot of rain has fallen on the island. These falls are named Cascade Niagara (Niagara falls in English, like the Canadian ones). Normally, this tourist place is for family picnic, the foreground is a large expand of grass and the cascade is really really small. As you can see, the rain due to the cyclone Felleng provoqued a huge fall which one has completely recovered the expand of grass. The power of the Cascade Niagara was very impressive! So, my camera was very wet, but still alive!!! ;D

Cette photo de la cascade niagara a été réalisée pendant le cyclone Felleng qui sévit toujours sur l’île de la Réunion. En temps normal, ce lieu touristique est une aire de pique-nique pour les réunionnais et leur famille. Il déjeune sur l’herbe aux pieds de la cascade. Actuellement, l’aire de pique-nique s’est transformée en lac…Les pluies diluviennes de Felleng ont entrainé une augmentation considérable du débit de la cascade. La puissance de l’eau ressentie à proximité est surprenante et n’a pas manqué d’humidifier franchement mon appareil ! Heureusement, solide comme un canon, il a résisté aux embruns et à la pluie ! ;D

I took this shot (HDR) during a winter holidays week in New York City. We were on the top of the Rockefeller center looking at the sunset. The view of the Empire State Building was incredible!

The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark skyscraper and American cultural icon in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (381 meters), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 ft (443.2 m) high. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State. It stood as the world's tallest building for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972. Following the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building reclaimed the position of tallest building in New York (although it was no longer the tallest in the world). Once the new One World Trade Center is completed, it will once again be demoted to second tallest building in New York.
The Empire State Building is designed in the distinctive Art Deco style, and has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The building and its street floor interior are designated landmarks of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and confirmed by the New York City Board of Estimate. It was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1986. In 2007, it was ranked number one on the List of America's Favorite Architecture according to the AIA. The building is owned and managed by W&H Properties. The Empire State Building is currently the third tallest skyscraper in the United States (after the Willis Tower and Trump International Hotel and Tower, both in Chicago), and the 15th tallest in the world. It is also the fourth-tallest freestanding structure in the Americas. The Empire State Building is currently undergoing a $550 million renovation, with $120 million spent in an effort to transform the building into a more energy efficient and eco-friendly structure.Receiving a gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating in September 2011, the Empire State Building is the tallest LEED certified building in the United States.

During a winter weekend, we have a lot of fun with friends on the beach. Indeed, the sunlight and the sea were awesome, the dune too… So, we decided to jump from the dune on the sand. We have really enjoyed it! ;D
Pendant un weekend hivernal en Normandie, à Pirou plages, nous nous sommes bien amusés entre amis. En effet, le soleil était splendide, la mer également et les dunes nous attendaient ! Nous avons réalisé une série de sauts de la dune dans le sable quelques mètres plus bas. On s’est bien marré ! ;D

Pirou is a small French city located in the state of Manche in Basse Normandie. Only 1621 inhabitants live there. It’s near the landing beaches of world war 2. Beaches are very nice but be careful, the water is very fresh !!! On the picture, you can see two friends walking away…

Pirou est une commune française, située dans le département de la Manche et la région Basse-Normandie, peuplée de 1621 habitants (les Pirouais). Les plages de Pirou sont fortes agréables (si on omet la température de la Manche, bien évidemment). Ce jour-là, le soleil était resplendissant !
Vous pouvez distinguer les silhouettes de deux amis se promenant paisiblement au soleil sur la côte normande…Ça change des paysages hivernaux enneigés ! ;D

I took this shot of these mountains during my winter holidays in French Alps at Albiez Montrond in Savoie. The snow was very good, lot of powder. It was a very nice sunset. I love the sunlight on the snow. Enjoy the weekend and the winter friends!! ;D

Cette photo a été réalisée en pleine montagne dans les Alpes françaises à Albiez Montrond en Savoie. Cette petite station d’altitude propose une vue surprenante sur les aiguilles d’Arves.
Les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques dans cette station. Les rayons du soleil sur la neige étaient splendides. Du coup, le petit clic sur le déclencheur pour immortaliser l’instant était tout naturel. Bon weekend les loulous et pour ceux qui sont au ski, profitez bien!! Tu chussssss !! ;D

Here, you can see a picture of the hall of the hotel Lassay taken during a visit of the French National Assembly located in Paris, France. Adjoining the French National Assembly, the adjacent Hôtel de Lassay, connected by a gallery to the Palais Bourbon, serves as the official residence of the National Assembly's president.

The National Assembly (French: Assemblée nationale, located in Paris) is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of France under the Fifth Republic. The upper house is the Senate ("Sénat").
The National Assembly's members are known as deputes ("delegate" or "envoy" in English; the word is an etymological cognate of the English word "deputy", usually "adjoint" in French).
There are 577 députés, each elected by a single-member constituency through a two-rounds system. 289 seats are therefore required for a majority. The assembly is presided over by a president (currently Claude Bartolone), normally from the largest party represented, assisted by vice-presidents from across the represented political spectrum.
The term of the National Assembly is five years; however, the President of the Republic may dissolve the Assembly (thereby calling for new elections) unless he has dissolved it in the preceding twelve months. This measure is becoming rarer since the 2000 referendum reduced the President's term from seven to five years: a President usually has a majority elected in the Assembly two months after him, and it would be useless for him to dissolve it for those reasons.
The official seat of the National Assembly is the Palais Bourbon on the banks of the river Seine (48.861899 N 2.318605 E); the Assembly also uses other neighbouring buildings, including the Immeuble Chaban-Delmas on the rue de l'Université (48.860799 N 2.315902 E). It is guarded by Republican Guards.
Following a tradition started by the first National Assembly during the French Revolution, the "left-wing" parties sit to the left as seen from the president's seat, and the "right-wing" parties sit to the right, and the seating arrangement thus directly indicates the political spectrum as represented in the Assembly.
