Had a trip out to York to catch up with a friend and had a really great day out with some good photo opportunities.

Also went to the Goji Café in the centre of York and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Fountains Abbey

A view over some of Fountains Abbey.

This is made up of 9 portrait shots with a polariser and ND grad combined together and then tone-mapped to try and even out the variations in lighting, and get something I liked. The strong light and late hour made this hard to combine into a full panorama but I think it is OK.

It's definitely best seen large.
