Taken from Ed Bluestein Blvd. on top of hillside. The capitol is approx. 4 mile from me and the building below the sun/moon is like 8 miles out at 360 and Bee Cave rd. Shooting with a Canon 5Diii with 800mm of lens. (400 2.8 + 2x)

I participated in a photowalk today and for "kicks" I only took a 50 mm 1.4 lens. The few times I use this lens I sem to get something I like. This star shape is actually two stars in a hollow metal lamp post base. I focused on the 2nd star which made the first one seem to be a shadow around the 2nd star.

3 exposure fused with photomatix fusion, plus 1 flash frame. Flash exposure made with 2 580 exii fired far camera left and just above came and bounced into white wall. I'm new to to adding flash to blended images and will look forward to the day it's not taking me 20 shots to get the balance close.

Strobist info: 2 580ex ii fired full power with pocket wizards, strobes zoomed in as lights about 75 feet from guy on bike. 1/50th sec to pick up some lights in trees with the lights in the park. Canon 5d iso 500
