The pic kinda sucks, except of course you get a good view of a LITTLE ADORABLE SOFT WHITE SQUIRRELBELLY!!!!!!!!111 x) *POKE*

My mum and I were out walking and she was the first to spot this squirrel sitting... uh... 1-2 meters from the path (which ran along the edge of the woods). And the squirrels in the area aren't half-tame like they are in some places. WTF! :D Well, I hope s/he wasn't brain damaged or something. :p

Aaaaand then I found them at home (Gothenburg) too, of course... (The shop was "Gröna Boden" at Vasaplatsen - marked on the map.) Bigger packets, even... I'm gonna fry them fast and hard sometime and make epic hot dogs. :q And now that I've been entertaining that thought for 10 seconds, I haz teh hungarrrrrrrrr.

My first jerky, I think... They were both good, perhaps especially the roasted one, which was more oily. So the drier peppered one would be better for... adventures. :B

Apparently these are sold in Sweden as well. Anyway, click here for some shots of the supermarket in Berlin (marked on the map although pic was taken back home...). :)

AHEM WHY YES ERM *SCRAPE* THAT IS ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT -

But I'd only just got the bag, and hope to use it in glamorouser places than backyards in the future! 8D

It's a Haglöfs Zensor 1S, only 990 grams. Comfort temperature for women: 5 degrees C. Extreme temp (at which one barely survives!!!!!!1): -15 degrees C. And since I'll need it (???) mainly for summer trips in un-extreme locations...

This magical bag looks and feels quite flimsy, so one almost has trouble believing the temp specifications, but I stayed snug! Lots of dew (some from the lake I guess - I suspect you're supposed to camp a bit farther from large bodies of water). Hopefully I'll get enough opportunities to sun-dry the bag on trips. :|

The ground was at times knobbly and the bag kept sliding around on my cheatin' pillow and on the final night there were mosquitoes so I hid deeply in the bag and got warm as hell, but........ :B

... End of equipment-fag moment. :q
