I have walked past this marker with the work "Knox" on it many times but this time it occurred to me that it could stand to represent the area of the Washington Memorial Chapels Cemetery. Upon closer inspection, I found the headstone of PC Knox which was somewhat understated consider he was the former Secretary of State under William Howard Taft.

Considering that Hillary Clinton was the Senator from NY and Secretary of State, I would never imagine her having such an understated headstone. Oh! She also had that first lady thing as well. But still, you know what I mean.

On nearly every adventure, I take a picture of my trusty sidekick. Yea, Milo is my daily driver and he faithfully gets me to and from work on a daily basis, but he also needs to be recognized as the steed that whisks me on grand adventures to find my locations for shooting.

As I was leaving Yellow Springs, I saw the back of this building at the intersection of PA 113 and Yellow Springs Road. I thought the faded sign and half painted facade would make for a nice backdrop to frame my ride before he got a trip through the car wash as a reward for a great journey.

So without complaint, Milo posed and the photo marks a moment in history. Then, with the roar of his V8 (through his brand spankin' new exhaust system) and the chirp of his tires on the hard road, we were gone and off for Phoenixville for that trip through the car wash.

When walking into the Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy center at Dulles Airport in Chantilly, VA, You just might want to duck to keep from getting clipped this P51 Mustang as you stand at the observation deck looking over the majority of the exhibits.

And I remember the day they decommissioned the military and CIA use SR71s and the beautiful copy sitting on the floor here exploded across the sky as it set the world record for the fastest trip from the west coast to the east coast.

I have had screen savers and backgorunds on my PC of the Space Shuttle for the last 10 years. To have the opportunity to see this beauty in person was the making of this kid at heart's day. I remember watching Columbia blast of for the first time in the 2nd Grade of school, and now the great shuttle fleet is retired and we can stare endlessly at her in Chantilly, VA. This really made my day.

It saddens me to know the fleet is no longer flying, but it is just so awesome to be up close to such a fabulous machine.
