Mark: ::Hobbles over with a soda::
Jackie: IDIOT!! ::slaps soda onto the street:: HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DRINK THIS WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN OPEN!!!
Mark: ::hobbles away crying::

[4 minutes later]

Mark: ::hobbles back with an open can, sweating and gasping for air::

Yes, the lake is real. We were both submerged in it along with
• Canon 5D (1)
• EF 17-40mm f/4L (1)
• 580EX (2)
• Pocket Wizard (3)
• Tripod (2)

Having my equipment sitting in a lake didn't worry me nearly as much as the sound Jackie makes when you situate her in a body of cold water! I guess this shoot was payback for the Jazcuzzi shoot in which she hung out in a hot steamy Jacuzzi while I lay in a puddle of fresh winter rain water a few weeks ago.

Yes, we hate each other. Thats our secret to photography }=)

Midnight photoshoots are a thing of the norm with Jackie and I. But this was 12 o'clock California time while we were in New York City (3:00 am). A cop noticed us jumping around in the alley... then... drove off.

What you don't see is a crowd gathering behind me, watching Jackie and I work together. I honestly thought we were going to get kicked off the beach. But the lifeguard seemed more than happy to have us there.
