Tuz Gölü, Salt lake, Central Anatolia, Turkey. L A R G E

The lake is located 120 km to the south of Ankara on the way to Cappadocia.
The Tuz Gölü is not only the biggest salt lake of Turkey but one of the biggest in the world as well. The lake, containing salt and minerals, has been a significant source of salt for Turkey for years.
Lately Salt Lake is in great danger because of industrial pollution and wrong usage of under and over ground waters.
