Tyla and I met up last April for the first time, after being Flickr friends for years. We discussed food and she invited me to come and eat lobster with her the next time I visit. So this weekend I'm in London, and meering Tyla, and having Lobster and it was delicious and fun!

Work has started again, but the faculty is still quite empty. Soon the halls and labs will be filled with eager new students. Enjoying this quiet time.

We had a company day out today, and walked a long day through the Dutch city The Hague. Afterwards we went to Scheveningen by the sea for drinks and a BBQ. I don't meet the ocean that often, but I do love the smell and taste of the beach. So I took of my shoes and walked right into the water, just standing there for a while and enjoying the moment. Me and the sea.

Even though I'm smiling bigtime, I shot my back today. Most probably a nerve or a muscle displaced itself.
Just smiling because I got a hot shower, a shave and a soothing skinmask, and nothing to do for the night...

I'm almost one week into my vacation and I've been running around, places to see, people to meet. Today I spent the whole day talking and chatting to a twitter friend I've known for years and she's a sphynx cat mom too, so we had much to discuss. And a photoshoot with her kids is in te works :)

So today was all about travelling to London, getting up early, grab the bags, travel to the airport and fly over the Canal, then travelling from the airport to central London. From there it was drinks and snacks and drinks and walks and drinks :)
