I received these images via cell phone last night. They purport to be cell phone shots of vintage photographs of the head of the Black Dragon of Gododdin, (Y Draig Du). It is claimed that it was carried by Gwrst Ledlwm ap Ceneu (The Ragged) as a battle standard mounted on a lance with a tattered body made of streaming black silk. It was said to have been slain by his father Saint Ceneu and was reportedly venerated as one of his relics in later years. There is contrary evidence that one or both of these images may be the the Dragon of Dinbych slain by Sir Iwan Bys Deuddeg.

I am a direct descendant of St. Ceneu, so I have a keen interest in acquiring the actual specimen for the Craw and Loupe Odditorium and these are fruitful clues! I will share more soon.
