The Zwinger (Der Dresdner Zwinger) is a palace in Dresden and a major landmark of German baroque architecture.

The location was formerly part of the Dresden fortress of which the outer wall is conserved. The name derives from the German word Zwinger (outer ward of a concentric castle); it was for the cannons that were placed between the outer wall and the major wall. The Zwinger was not enclosed until the neoclassical building by Gottfried Semper called the Semper wing was built to host the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister art gallery

Look at her sweet, not quite sharp :), face ! The kid approached dogs so well and he would come back for a hug quite a few times :) and Xziva loved it !

This morning Raspoetins owner called to tell us that they had to put Ras to sleep, he made it clear it was his time. He had trouble getting up and he fell twice when trying to drink. The vet didn't know what was wrong with him but he knew something was not right at all.

We will miss this really gentle giant, I always loved his big feet and his big soft muzzle and his kind personality.

Run free Count Raspoetin and have fun with all the Danes your owners and we have had !!

Last week we looked after Raspoetin and Cato and this week they stayed, with owners, with us for a few days.
That's the reason I haven't been online to comment your photo's. I will try to catch up and do better next week :)

I thought it would be nice to show her friends too. They see each other on a regular basis so they are part of her live too.

My new Nikon D90 is giving me problems :( ,it's not always focusing and I get errors, so depressing. Worst part: I can't find my bill so I will have to do some serious searching !!!!

When you see this it looks so rural and quiet but the truth is: to my left is the Highway to Amsterdam and the fast train to Paris and overhead often planes leaving from or arriving at Schiphol !!!!

Lucky thing for me: I had a tree to protect me :)
Love this shot, it shows her happy silly face. Ears going every way and that big tongue just flapping along.
She loves this walk in the woods and it shows.
Had a difficult time choosing between 3 photo's but this happy running shot won !!!
