Hyacint vases from Emerlad city :-)

If the Emerald City in far-away land of Oz would really existed I bet they would be growing green hyacinth in vases cut from emerald :-)

As we are in real world we can afford only grow normal hyacinth in "emerald" green vases. And that is not bad at all !

All tones of green are good for vases, but particularly emerald green color is immensely beautiful and very good to make bouquets from flowers as well.

I found green vases in many shapes and size. It looks like they suit better for red hyacinths and yellow narcissis to create stronger contract. Crocuses get lost in such strong color.

I used water beads on this photo to force hyacinth at this photo. There are other names for this material as magic gel, aqua crystal soil, crystal mud. My son called it "alien egg", one of my colleague mistook it for a sweets, but they are indeed just super absorbent polymer which can swell a few time in size in water. It looks great in vases. Size & Colors, use with water or without provide endless fun to create beautiful combinations.
