I turned on the sprinkler this morning as had to stay home to await Traddies {Still waiting} and set out around the garden with my macro lens, unfortunately our sprinkler system is a bit excitable and drowned all my dandelions while knocking down flower head I had originally set out to take! go me! Although the water droplets caught on the stem of the Kangaroo paw caught my eye as it seemed like little christmas trees caught in a snow globe..

Tried this shot a few weeks ago - but decided to attempt again the other night - this time I decided not to bleach the colour out - WA sunsets are stunning... This one looked like it was going to be a no show until the sun dipped over the edge then the sky lit up.

Red was a bit hard today - as Finn has a sick bug now... so we only went to the shops and back.. in the rain.. note to self - try really hard to pass car test!

Hmm.. I'm just not sure about this, I went back to an image I took last year in SA of my favourite Red Gum as that area always looked like a painting to me.. It was fun learning the process though!
