This is the first flower photo uploaded from my new Canon EOS 400D....hand held, macro setting on camera, no extra lens and no photo shop at all except for adding my name... I'm quite pleased with this outcome as a real learner to SLR's...

Another beautiful coastline shot of "Watchtower Bay" between Whitmore Bay, Barry Island and "Cold Knap" . South Wales Uk... A bit more colour on this day than my previous shots.

Had the pleasure of seeing this bird and others like him in the grounds of Cardiff Castle....Apparently they are rescued birds from various situations eg. being kept for pets... They are allowed to fly freely on weekends when their keeper takes them home...they are micro chipped.

Victoria Park, in my home town... I love this park and it always brings back childhood memories for me. It is being refurbished with a Lottery Heritage fund at the moment and I can't wait to see the finished thing with all the flower beds etc...apparently they have made good a Victorian drinking fountain that is there, I must go back in the nice weather and find this... don't forget to view my bandstand picture from here...

This is Romilly Park in my home town of Barry, South Wales....There was a sudden change in the weather today, so I tried to capture a snowy scene, but it didn't last long. Soon washed away by heavy rain later.
