I'm hand cleaning every single tiny piece of the car – every washer, bolt, nut, contact, spring, piece of plastic, rubber stopper... the lot.

The metal components get de-greased, then soaked in rust-remover, then scrubbed with wire brushes, then cleaned again, then dried, then sprayed with a protectant.

The plastic and rubber bits get de-greased, then soaked in a rejuvenator, then dried, then sprayed with a protectant.
