I have been trying to get the light to work for this for a few days now...

The EXIF info says it was with the 14mm, but it was actually my 24mm :( I fail at setting up my camera properly.

I found myself awake much earlier than usual on a Saturday. With nothing else to do I thought I would try to catch a sunrise down on the Hudson.

This car is usually parked in the same spot. So I usually take the same photo of it. This time it came out a bit better than the others.

My partner JTPhoto2010 challenged me to:
"Capture / create an image that depicts what the holidays mean to you and your family."

I was not sure how to do that, so I deviated a bit and made this which I am sure has tons of meaning to other people.

My challenger Shane W(check out his stream) challenged me to:

"Can I challenge you to take a nature shot? It could be landscape or a close up of an insect (it being summer in the northern hemisphere) but it does need to be in colour. "

I had a rough time with this. I could not find anything locally, but I am on a trip visiting family in Wisconsin so this was perfect.
