A great bunch of young sailors crewed on this little yacht a defiance class 1/2 tonner. Some became state, national and world and America's cup champions in their own right. All with the help and guiding hand of it's owner John Molloy.

Sagitta an S & S 34 pushes half of Port Phillip bay away to get going here .Taken on the way home from watching the 1979 Admirals Cup team trials on the Bay. First shot I took of sailing as a new enthusiastic camera owner.

Was a employee at Savages at time these 42 foot Cruising yachts were built very well designed and great sea boat. Parkescraft bought the moulds when Savages stopped building big fiberglass boats due the fuel crisi in 1979.
