Los Muros Hablan Festival, Santurce, Puerto Rico 2012

San Juan, Puerto Rico, 4 de octubre de 2012 — Llega a Santurce el festival de arte urbano internacional más grande del Caribe, Los
Muros Hablan, en el cual reconocidos artistas urbanos locales e internacionales rescatarán espacios abandonados y los
transformarán en valiosas piezas de arte al aire libre. El festival se celebrará desde el 4 hasta el 14 de octubre.

Los Muros Hablan es una iniciativa presentada por Coors Light con la intención de restaurar el ambiente santurcino a través del
despliegue de impresionantes murales que convertirán el área en un gran museo exterior. “Nos sentimos muy orgullosos de refrescar
la ciudad con este innovador esfuerzo artístico y contribuir con ideas creativas que mejoran nuestro entorno”, señaló Arnaud Cahen,
director de mercadeo de MillerCoors Puerto Rico.

Los murales que transformarán espacios a lo largo de las avenidas Fernández Juncos, Ponce de León y de Diego serán creados por
Sego (México), Aryz (España), Jaz (Argentina), Roa (Bélgica), Ever (Argentina), Neuzz (México) y los artistas puertorriqueños Bik
Ismo, Sofía, Celso, Pun 18, La Pandilla y El Coro. “El muralismo es descrito como el movimiento artístico-cultural más grande en la
historia universal del arte y su esencia es tan democrática que cualquiera con deseos de expresión puede dejar su marca, lo que ha
producido manifestaciones de menor relevancia como muchas otras que se convierten en legados históricos”, explicó Celso González,
uno de los gestores del proyecto y artista participante. Los Muros Hablan es una producción de Buena Vibra Group.

L’association le M.U.R. (Modulable, Urbain et Réactif) est une association loi 1901 dont l’objet est la promotion de l’art contemporain et plus particulièrement de l’art urbain. Fondée en mars 2003, sa mission est la mise en place d’un cycle d’affichage artistique dans la ville et plus spécifiquement sur un panneau de 3m x 8m loué à la Mairie de Paris.
L’association sélectionne les artistes à travers un comité délibératif, anime le cycle des commandes aux artistes, met à la disposition un atelier de production, défraie les artistes et édite un catalogue des interventions artistiques.
