Inspired by the Eiffel tower, it was the tallest artificial structure in Japan at 332 mts till 2012. It's a popular tourist destination with two publicly accessible observatories at the hight of 250 metres giving a panaromic view of this amazing city - over 150 million people have visited this place.<br /> <br /> I took this shot on the way back after visiting the tower in the evening, I guess they light it differently on weekends with bright blue lights apart from the usual red/orange on weekdays.
