One of those old airline schemes thats still hanging about the very old United scheme, that was two schemes before the United Continental merger. Shot was taken at heathrow on 18th October 2011. I must add I have never before caught this scheme in the right light but feel I have now.

Well it does look like a ship in my eyes, but I suppose thats Modern Art in a building! Situated alongside Lake Michigan this could just as easily be the bow and bridge of a cruise liner

The only remaining flying V-Bomber from the British series of aircraft, This is the Vulcan but there was also the Victor and the Valiant. The only collection in the world with all 3 examples is at the RAF Museum Cosford, England!

Sat on a plinth at RAF Akrotiri is this great example of an English Electric Lightning, it probably looks this good due to the excellent weather conditions at the Soverign Base in Cyprus. Im reliably informed that this is a 56 Sqn Lightning
Will the next generation Lightning really last like this one?

Another nice catch at Munich the B737 from Domavia in Russia departs Munich for home, yet another extra flight for Ski services, with Terminal 2 in the background and a few Lufthansa aircraft between the United, Continental, US Airways and Qatar airliners
Since this was taken Domavia have retired all of their B737's

The longest variant of the Boeing B767, there aren't too many aircraft longer than this, I have only ever seen them flown by Delta from the USA
