Mabul Island is reputed to be one of the best places for underwater macrophotography in the world. Located in the clear waters of the Celebes Sea off the mainland of Sabah, it is surrounded by gentle sloping reefs two to 40m deep.
Covering some 21 ha., it is considerably larger than the nearby Sipadan Island and is home to the Bajau Laut tribe, one of many ethnic groups in Sabah.

This is Bajau Laut children, one of the last nomadic sea-faring people of South- East Asia, also known as sea gypsy people. This shot was taken at Mabul island of Sabah. While busy shooting photos of their friend by the sea, the cute little girl on the left grab my hand and take me to show their house. It was very hot over there, just manage to get a few shot here.

This is not the first time they pose in front of the camera becauce Mabul Island is one of divers heaven in thre world, located not very far from famous Sipadan Island of Sabah.
