The famous UFO House about 15KMs north of Taipei. Initially designed to be some sort of modern holiday resort in the early 80's. The construction never completed and it was abandoned for 28 years. In recent years it has become popular for photographers and adventure seekers due to it's unique construction. Recently it was scheduled to be demolished but latest news has it that a movie was to be filmed at the location thus putting the deconstruction on hold. Anyway, I've always wanted to visit it before it was gone and finally has.

Shot was taken deliberately under-exposed so I can keep the details in the sky. Still, I was impressed with the dynamic range I got off this shot without the use of layering HDRs. However, I did end up with some chromatic aberrations.

My favourite thing to do on the High Speed Rail: Order a cup of tea when the stewardess comes by, wait till the tea drops to drinkable temperature. Enjoy my tea and by the time I'm finished, I'll be merely minutes away from destination.

Sometimes the shot I like best from the batch, is not the original shot I intend to shoot. This was the last shot taken from the dozen I took, it was a slightly different angle from my original plan but actually worked better.

Taken next to the Taipei 101 Skyscraper, Christmas decoration of a sort.

Just got back from Angkor Wat, Cambodia. What a thought provoking trip it was. I took this shot the 2nd day I was there at Pre Rup Temple, I knew from the moment I clicked on the shutter that this was going to be a image to remember.
