Uploaded for Jules photo challenge, Day 10 - Touched By Light......this is at Minster Lovell Hall in the village of Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire - the hall is a ruin of a 15th century manor house once owned by Lord Francis Lovell who fought on the losing side at the Battle of Stoke Field in 1487, legend has it that in 1708 a skeleton reputed to be that of Lord Lovell was found in a hidden chamber in the house where he had supposedly hidden himself after escaping the battle and then starved to death.....another grisly story associated with the hall is "The Legend of The Mistletoe Bough" - a story supposedly based on fact though no-one seems sure of when or where it happened ( several English houses lay claim to it ) - The story goes that during a wedding party the new bride whilst playing a game hid in an old trunk in the attic of the house but the lid slammed shut and nobody found her until years later when a servant opened the trunk and recoiled in horror at its contents - a mouldering skeleton in a bridal gown.....apparently on some nights you can still hear the cries of the distraught groom searching in vain for his bride....!

...kinda made me wish I actually owned some glasses of some sort....Uploaded for Jules photo challenge, Day 14. I don't wear glasses not even when it's sunny ( not that I have to worry about this too much - remember I live in England ) I just don't like having things on my face/head, though I did end up with quiet a bit of grit/dirt/cinders in my face - maybe I should've took a bit more notice of the sign "Do Not Lean Out Of The Window" but then I wouldn't have got this shot!

Uploaded for Jules photo challenge, Day 13 - My favourite colour.......was just going to take a quick snap of some trees in the park for todays photo but it was a pretty grey 'n' gloomy day so I decided to look elsewhere for my shot.....went to the Tate Britain art gallery in central London as they've had a bit of a change around since I was last there ( they have more art than they have room to display ) and decided while I was there to try to get some shots of some of the "Greener" pictures in the collection .....
