It looks like autumn red leaves fell to the ground, but it is summer.
Elaeocarpus grandis has such distinctive red leaves, and buttress roots.

Three stages of the flower.

Genus Lagunaria comprises a single species in Malvaceae family. Endemic to Norfolk and Lord Howe Islands, off eastern Australia, and a small stretch of coastal Queensland.
Indeed flowers look like Hibiscus, but small, while the tree is much bigger than a Hibiscus bush.

Unique edible Vaccinium from Sakhalin island. Also native to Kamchatka, Kurile islands, Hokkaido.
In English called 'Kamchatka bilberry'.
Deciduous shrub growing to 0.2 m (0ft 8in!) by 0.3 m.
The berry has an unmistakable strong aroma and taste, and the best remedy for high blood pressure ( and hangover ;)

Last flowers on the autumn fruiting Australian rainforest tree Melicope rubra,
