The tree is Yellow Trumpet tree from South America (Paraguay)
Tabebuia aurea

Just a week ago it was mass of gold blossom along that road. Pity, I did not have my camera then.
This Tabebuias particularly flower very well after a dry winter (we did not have any rain in August and September). After a wet winter flowers appear together with leaves, and blossom is not that abundant. I think it is typical for many American trees.

It is a fine new foliage of Jacaranda mimosifolia- appears just after most flowers drop.

These yellow trumbet flowers might look good, but in Brisbane it is serious environmental weed.

It is a perennial, climbing liana native to the Central and South Americas and the West Indies, but now can be found in any tropical country. It is an invasive species in much of its range and is said to be one of the most destructive exotic vines. The vine effects all layers of infected forest ecosystems by rapidly spreading both vertically and horizontally across everything with which it makes contact, overwhelming both the understorey plants and the canopy trees.
Difficult to remove due to its rapid growth, extensive root system, and prolific seed production.

All flowers blooming within a few days in spring.

As the name says, the tree is native (endemic) to Seychelles (east of Madagascar, Indian ocean)

The flowers are small - 3-4 cm long.

The tree from South America (Venezuela and Ecuador),
semi-deciduous, - it means it could drop leaves at some conditions - dry or cold, but not all leaves; apparently could be deciduous in colder climate.

I have been observing this tree since it was planted on the street a couple of years ago. It was growing very fast - healthy and beautiful. Last year it was flooded, as this street was under the water.
This summer the young tree blooming! - you can see her first flowers and the long snake-like "baby" fruit (seed capsule)
