Glover's Atoll Resort, Belize

Unfortunately this was the last morning we got to wake up at Glover's Atoll. Fortunately the sunrise was lovely! It was so hard to get on the boat to leave this beautiful island. I could have spent a lot more time here. Like forever.

A big thanks to Jorge who let me use his mini maglight to illuminate the huts! My LED headlamp puts out an awful blue light that doesn't complement the sky very well.

Robin and I relaxed on the deck of an empty cabin and sat under the milky way and watched a thunderstorm roll in. The water beneath us was only a couple feet deep and crystal clear. Schools of blue needlefish swam around in the light of our headlamps. It was a wonderful and relaxing way to end the day.

I couldn't resist getting up and capturing this gorgeous sunrise. I was busy getting my open water diving certification so I didn't have too much time for taking pictures. I was mostly dripping with saltwater or underwater. Wish I had a waterproof camera.

We had a couple of Barracuda heads tied onto the end of the rope. When the sharks and rays would take a bite, maddie would pull them up to the surface. Unfortunately after this shot the shark's teeth cut the rope and it finally got it's meal.
