Over a week I only did four sketches, the latter was a great relaxing time playing around, mixing, daring colors saturated with pigment from my watercolor box. Whatever the outcome, the pleasure was huge. Like a moment as in kindergarten, when you can dare anything, just experimenting.

Sur une semaine je n'ai fait que 4 croquis, dont ce dernier, grand moment de détente à patouiller, mélanger, oser l'aplat de couleurs bien saturées de pigment. Qu'importe le résultat, le plaisir était énorme. Une impression de m'octroyer un instant comme en maternelle, quand on peut tout oser, tout expérimenter.

Barbezieux, garden of my daughter, view of the vegetable garden in squares. Vegetables are nestled in the square, allows a vegetable rotation corresponding to the need for, coming soon three :-) human being. As for the weather, incredible, we had 2 days of beautiful days over 1 week!

Barbezieux, jardin de ma chouppette, variation sur la vue du potager en carré. Les légumes sont nichés au creux de carrés, permet une rotation correspondant au besoin en légumes de bientôt trois :-) êtres. Côté météo, incroyable, on a eu 2 jours de beau sur 1 semaine !

When the street offers its color coordinates between a panel and a scooter of the same color. I stopped for sure.The evening workshop of Did, in my little garden, my fellow sketchers at work ! (Using a pencil HB for the workshop, but not erasing much :-)...)

quand la rue coordonne ses couleurs entre un panneau orange et un scooter de la même couleur. Je m'arrête bien sure.Le soir, atelier de Did dans mon petit jardin, mes collègues de labeur ! (utilisation d'un crayon HB, et oui...exercice).

For the sketch hunt "Water in the city" The "3 graces" fountain under a very cloudy day. A meeting point known for every one. There is always life near water.

Pour la chasse au croquis, l'eau dans la ville, vite fait sur la Comédie, la fontaine des 3 grâces. Plein de vie près de l'eau, même sous un temps menaçant.

Trying to find a way to draw people moving, using the single continuous line for a try...
Pour la chasse au croquis, l'eau dans la ville, vite fait sur la Comédie, la fontaine des 3 grâces. Plein de vie près de l'eau, même sous un temps menaçant.
Essai avec ligne continu pour essayer de capter le flot mouvant des personnes....

Dimanche sans pluie. Les joueurs d'échec sur l'esplanade le soir, et tentative d'épingler mon homme.... mais c'est toujours pas ça :-)

a rainy Saturday, conducive to relaxation, and some sketches on a double page throughout the day. My man, my pergola, the street before my street, a few books, and my man who falls asleep. All this is mine (kind of) :-).
Both sketches of my man were drawn with a pencil first ;-), the rest is straight in line.

un samedi pluvieux, propice au farniente, et quelques croquis sur une double page au fil de la journée. Mon homme, ma véranda, la rue avant ma rue, quelques livres, et encore mon homme qui s'endort. Tout ça c'est à moi :-) (façon de dire).
Les deux croquis de mon homme ont d'abord été esquissé au crayon. Le reste c'est du liner direct.

Evening sketches. right : in my tiny town garden, young fig leaves stretching to the light above. On the left, a backhoe falling asleep at 7 pm on Albert I square.

croquis du soir. A droite dans mon mini jardin de ville, les jeunes feuilles de figuier cherchent la lumière toujours plus haut. A gauche, un tracto au repos à 18h dans le quartier d'Albert Ier.

Evening sketch, it was very cold and I had taken refuge in the VW parked in my neighborhood. The view was not great, and I wondered if I would not go home without drawing when my eyes fell on the reflections on the hood of a car parked next to the VW car. I had my topic. I finished the drawing on the spot and added pencil memos for the colors.

Sketch du soir, il faisait très froid et je m'étais réfugié dans le VW garé dans mon quartier. La vue était pas terrible, et je me demandais si je n'allais pas rentrer à la maison sans dessiner, quand mon regard est tombé sur les reflets sur ce capot d'une voiture garée juste à côté du VW. J'avais mon sujet. Je l'ai fini sur place en liner et j'ai indiqué les couleurs au crayon pour mémo.
