44/365 - Went to Skyhigh Sports this morning to have some jumping fun. That place is AWESOME! We'll definitely be going back at some point. It's in Tigard, so getting there is slightly annoying, but it was well worth the trip. I want to have my next birthday party there. ;-)

My one complaint is that they wouldn't let us bring a camera out on the tramp space, so I was stuck on a little tramp right next to the entry for this shot. I wanted to do a layout/superman kind of thing, but was worried about hitting the edge. (There are bigger tramps further out in the arena.) Anyway, settled for this. It's actually kinda funny 'cause I look slightly scared. I think I'd either jumped higher than I had previously and was worried about the landing, or else I was off target and worried about the landing. Either way, I made a funny face. :-)

41/365 - It was nice and foggy this morning, so I threw some clothes on, grabbed a camera and headed out. As I was going back home I stopped to do a selfie. If I had my fancy timer, I would have done an action shot, but w/ only ten seconds to work with I basically just had time to sit down. :-)

Met up with Dave Feucht so he could make a couple photos of me and my bike for his Porta 400 potrait project. It was fun to be on the other side of the camera (and not in charge of said camera) for a change. Dave's got other people to shoot before I get to see the photos of me, but I'm excited to see how they turn out. :-)

(See Pete? I had the shot stacking idea. But the Dr. just told me earlier this week that I had to take it easy to let my ribs heal, so I wisely chose not to attempt the two Johns one teeter totter shot. :-)

18/365 - It's rather wet up here in Portland. Well, in lots of places I suppose. Had my rain gear on from my ride home, so I took the kids over to the playground to find some puddles. Fun! (This shot is the last one I took before we left, and the kids were done and ready to go, so they didn't join in.)

17/365 - Went for a walk with the wife and kids right when I got home from work; grabbed the camera in case inspiration struck. It did! I'm bummed the focus isn't better, but I'm calling it good enough to post.

9/365 - Woo hoo! When we went over to my parents' for family dinner tonight, my Grandpa's aviator hat and goggles were waiting for me. They're from back when he earned his pilot's license. They've been more or less a trophy since then - just on display in his house. He finally decided to pass 'em on to someone who will actually use 'em. And use them I will!!! Happy belated Epiphany to ME!
