Yes, Journey. Of all the damn songs that could have gotten stuck in my head when I came upon this scene, it had to be Journey. Surely, there are other songs about big wheels turning, right? RIGHT? But no, I get Steve Perry playing on repeat in my brain.

They were setting up a carnival in the outskirts of the mall parking lot. It's a very strange place for a carnival and I've certainly never seen on there before. I spotted the scene at lunch and thought how the wheel would make a great backdrop against the stormy sky. I was very proud of myself for actually going out of my way on the drive home from work to get the shots instead of blowing off yet another photo op.

Oh, I have no idea what this ride is about. It's a wheel. In the sky. I suppose you spin on it somehow. I'll post a different angle later.

Very weird weather today. One minute it was all blue skies and sun and the next, these huge storm clouds were bearing down on us and unleashed torrential rains and hail. Five minutes later, it cleared up again. Then it rained, while the sun was shining. The fierce looking clouds stayed with us all day and I was happy that when I got the site of the carnival, there were still storms hovering above it.

All this means there will be yet more cloudporn from me later.

But no more Journey. EVER.
